Dr. Borcich received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. After completing his undergraduate studies in biochemistry and molecular biology, he went on to earn his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Borcich completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. Following his internship and residency, he pursued additional training there as a National Institute of Health (NIH) funded fellow in gastroenterology. He then embarked on hepatology training at Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he then joined the faculty to manage complex liver transplant patients.
