Overview

Eric Morgenstern, M.D. was born and raised in New York City. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and attended New York Medical College.

Dr. Morgenstern is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He completed his Medical Internship, Residency, Chief Residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Dr. Morgenstern was awarded the John O. Vieta Award for academic and personal achievement and the Outstanding Medical Resident Award during that time.

Dr. Morgenstern is currently in private practice specializing in Gastroenterology and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy in New York City. Additionally, Dr. Morgenstern is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine at the New York University School of Medicine, is an Associate Attending in the Department of Medicine and a member of the Section of Gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital and is a Visiting Attending Physician at The Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Morgenstern is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and a Member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Physicians, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
